Fun continues to be in the offing for toddlers and their parents with Ardkeen Library presenting its revitalised “Parent and Toddler Group” from September 2005.

The Parent and Toddler Group, which meets every Wednesday morning at 10.30am, allows parents and children to spend some fun-filled quality time together.

From September, there will be a regular storytime slot and this interactive storytime, which features stories, poems, nursery rhymes, and puppets, is an excellent way to introduce young children to children’s events/activities at the Library.

From September 2005 – May 2006, the Parent and Toddler Group will also include talks to discuss various issues such as interactive play, baby massage and tips on book selection for young children.

The toddlers will have toys and play equipment to explore, while those giving the talks will speak and circulate amongst parents to answer their questions.

Parenting magazines, and books are available for parents to borrow.

The Parent and Toddler Group is free of charge and all parents/carers and their toddlers are welcome to attend.  There is no need to book.
