Heritage Week

 

Heritage Week runs from 4 – 11th September.  It’s a week-long celebration of who we are and where we’ve come from. Heritage Week is part of European Heritage Days. There is something to appeal to almost everyone and the main aim is to build awareness of our built, natural and cultural heritage. Launch of local studies department and Ask About Ireland website www.askaboutireland.ie by local historian, Jack O'Neill. Come and view a showcase of the wonderful images of our local heritage from the collections of local libraries, museums and archives.
