Introduction

Minutes of City Combined Branches meeting held in the Oak Room, The Munster on Thurs. Ist September '05 at 8 p.m.

Present: Paddy Reidy (Chair), John Ryan(Sec), Brian OShea T.D, Cllrs Pat Hayes, Seamus Ryan & Jack Walsh, John Kerr, Phil o'Brien, Micheal Ryan, Joe Howlett, Joan Bowe, Grainne Boucher, Billy Ryan, Christy Glynn, William Daly.

Apologies: Danny Bowe and Cllr P.Hayes submitted a block apology for attending Ward 1 members.

City Council Report: Cllr. S. Ryan informed of the setting up of 3 area Committee's, to tackle issues for each ward. This would provide an oppourtunity for community & residents organisations to have concerns raised.

Disc Parking Review : The issuing of carers and visitors permits has generally been welcomed.

Military Barracks residential development completed. 1and 2 bedrooms, mostly houses and the residents wished that it be named Mount Sion Court.

Cllr Jack Walsh: Submissions invited for proposed City boundary extension.

Barcelona recommendations being actively pushed in Waterford.
