Bealtaine Festival this May at Brown’s Road Back to What's On
Are you over 55 and would you like to try something new, then come along to Brown’s Road At Brown’s Road Art Workshop with Susan Enticknap If you would like to explore your artistic side then this workshops are for you. Explore art as a means to express your thoughts, feelings and dreams. All materials supplied. Pen and Ink Landscapes Wednesday 5 May 3pm-5pm Workshop is free to members. Booking is essential. A selection of the works will be exhibited in the libraries during June and July for all your friends and family to see Healthy Mind – Healthy Body with therapist Lisa Smith-Everett and practitioner Patricia Roche Improve the health of your mind and body with these talks about Meditation and Yoga. Wednesday 12 May 3pm – Meditation Friday 28 May 3pm – Chair Yoga Talks are free to members. Booking is essential. ‘Transforming Identity’ Clay Modelling Workshops with Maeve Collins These workshops will focus on memories and transferring them to clay. Photographs of Wednesday 26 May 3pm-5pm Workshop is free to members. Booking is essential. Creative Writing Competition Could you be an author? Get your creative juices flowing and let out the scribe in you! Write a short story based on the theme of this year’s festival ‘Have dreams and speak them without fear’. All entries to be submitted by Friday 28 May 6:00pm to Brown’s Road or Monday 31 May 5:30pm to Ardkeen or Central Libraries.
